Save the best for last is a standard Dead by Daylight perk for players who like to get really into the game. The Killer chooses a Survivor and marks them as their Obsession. Depending on their Obsession status, the Killer can trigger deadly effects.
With Save the Best for Last, you have to attack every other Survivor before you can attack your Obsession. This gives you a stack of tokens that reduce the amount of time you have to wait until you can use your power to get rid of your Obsession.
When the Obsession is killed or given up as a sacrifice, you can no longer gain or lose Tokens.
This perk is best for Killers who move slowly and need a little extra help to get a second tap in.
The Doctor, the Spirit, and the Wraith are all part of this. It also works well for Michael Meyers, whose Evil Within power makes him more useful when he’s stalking Survivors by making him move faster, make Lunge attacks faster, and cut the time it takes to vault.
