How To Get an Invisible Item Frame In Minecraft

Invisible Frames enables Minecraft players to install items on their walls without the use of an outside frame. To claim it, players must use a command.
The Invisible Item Frame is a type of Item Frame that is only available in the Java Edition of Minecraft, and it’s highly handy in Minecraft Furniture Design. This new Item Frame option in Minecraft Interior Design opens up a whole new universe of possibilities.

The Invisible Item Frame is similar to a regular Item Frame, except that the frame itself is completely invisible! As a result, we may now display blocks and items on their own. They are still rotatable and can be placed on any surface.
Some gamers have shared images of their tools and goods placed on surfaces that do not have a conventional frame around them. Item frames in vanilla Minecraft have a specific aesthetic by default, which limits players who want to achieve a more worn-in ornamental approach.

How to get the Invisible Item Frame

Using console instructions to obtain invisible item frames in Minecraft
Bring up the Command window (by pressing the ‘t’ key) and type the following command:

@s /give @s item_frame{EntityTag:{Invisible:1}}

You’ll obtain the Invisible Item Frame, but it’ll look just like any other Item Frame and won’t be labeled any differently.

This is possible in both Creative and Survival Mode.

Note: If you started a game in Survival Mode with Allow Cheats set to OFF, you can temporarily activate them via the Pause menu > Open to LAN screen.

  • @a: The invisible frame will be distributed to all server players.
  • @e: All entities on the server will be assigned the invisible frame.
  • @p: The invisible frame will be given to the player closest to you.
  • @r: A random player will be assigned the invisible frame.

The invisible frame should show in their inventory after selecting one of these alternatives. Bedrock players, on the other hand, do not have access to the command. Instead, these players will need to employ mods to make it work. When you install these mods, the usual frame item will be replaced with the invisible frame item. It has no effect other than to change the appearance of the object.

It is crucial to note that as of Minecraft 1.17, this approach is only available to Java players. The method will not work because the invisible item frame is not considered an independent object in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. This may change in the future, however, for the time being, this method is only available in Java Edition.
