The month of June brings many films and shows to Netflix. A significant number of movies, in addition to brand new and returning series, are on the road. Check out fresh content coming to Netflix:

Sweet Tooth

Release date – 4 June, 2021

Sweet Tooth is an upcoming American dream drama streaming television series based on the comic book of the same name by Jeff Lemire. The series was made by Jim Mickle for Netflix that is set to premiere on June 4, 2021.

Ten years ago “The Great Crumble” wreaked havoc on the planet and contributed to the mysterious emergence of hybrid babies born part human, part animal. Unsure if hybrids are the cause or result of the virus, many humans fear and seek them. Following a decade of living safely in his lush forest house, a sheltered hybrid deer-boy named Gus (Christian Convery) unexpectedly befriends a wandering loner called Jepperd (Nonso Anozie). Together they embark on an extraordinary adventure across what’s left of America in search of answers- about Gus’ origins, Jepperd’s previous, and the true meaning of residence. But their story is full of unexpected allies and enemies, and Gus quickly learns the lush, dangerous world away from the forest is much more complicated than he ever could have imagined.

Trese

Release Date – 10 June, 2021

Netflix is continuing to expand its slate of original international anime using Trese, which just released a new trailer. The show is based upon the award-winning Filipino komik (the term for comics utilized throughout the Philippines) series by writer Budjette Tan and artist Kajo Baldisimo. Trese follows detective Alexandra Trese (Shay Mitchell in the series’s English dub and Liza Soberano in the Tagalog dub) as she investigates crimes involving supernatural things. Meanwhile, she must contend with the legacy her deceased dad Anton has bestowed on her.

Lupin: Part 2

Release Date – 11 June, 2021

Lupin is the series that Cash Heist fans have been waiting for since the season 4 finale. Netflix claims the French thriller’s initial five episodes, which fell on January 8, reached 70 million audiences, making the show as popular as megahits such as The Queen’s Gambit and Bridgerton.

Ray

Release Date – 25 June, 2021

Netflix’s upcoming anthology, according to Satyajit Ray’s tales, is set to stream from June 25. The streaming giant on Friday introduced a new teaser giving a glimpse of this stellar celebrity cast, and titles of those short films. Ray features Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Kay Kay Menon, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, and Radhika Madan among many others.

The four magnificent stories would be based on love, lust, betrayal, and fact, tied together from the visionary writing of Ray. It would also research the vulnerabilities and a number of shades of these figures.

Godzilla Singular Point

Release Date – 24 June, 2021

Godzilla Singular Point is a Japanese animated tv series, made by Toho Company Ltd. Bones, and Orange. Singular Point is known to be canonically unrelated to another Netflix-tied Godzilla anime trilogy. It made its debut on Netflix Japan on March 25, 2021, also premiered on television on April 1, 2021. Netflix has set its international release for June 24, 2021.

This series includes an original story, which depicts the young geniuses Mei Kamino, a female writer, and Yun Arikawa, a male engineer since they carry on an unparalleled threat with their companions. When danger comes in the depths, just young geniuses Mei, Yun, along with their team can face the threat in Godzilla Singular Point!

AWAKE

Release Date – 9 June, 2021

Starring Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin, Annihilation) and directed by Mark Raso (Kodachrome, Copenhagen), Netflix’s upcoming thriller Awake follows Jill (Rodriguez) and her two children since they’re confronted by the end of the world situation where the power goes out — no one can connect via technologies — and no one could sleep. Since Jill struggles to keep her children alive among a population crazed from sleep deprivation, she realizes she may hold the secret to the human race’s survival in the form of her pre-teen daughter, who can, indeed, still sleep.

Wish Dragon

Release Date – 11 June, 2021

Based on a genie-in-a-bottle story retelling from Chris Appelhans (who’ll also direct the film). Din (voiced by Jimmy Wong), a working-class college student with big dreams but tiny means, and Long (John Cho), a cynical but all-powerful dragon capable of granting wishes, set off on a hilarious adventure through modern-day Shanghai in pursuit of Din’s long-lost childhood friend, Lina (Natasha Liu Bordizzo). Their travel forces them to answer some of life’s biggest concerns — because when it is possible to wish for anything, you have to choose what actually matters.

Elite season 4

Release Date – 18 June, 2021

The nonstop drama at Élite’s Las Encinas offers the ideal escape for whatever drama is going on in our lives. The hit Spanish series will go back for a fourth year on June 18 and was likewise renewed through season 5.
